Leadership Forums

Through a series of Leadership Forums, TLCA is working to develop partnerships with community leaders to encourage dialogue, education, and action on HIV/AIDS in communities of color. To date, OHAP has met with the following community leaders:

  • African American Leaders who Called for a State of Emergency (8/99)
  • African American Media Leaders (10/99)
  • Follow-up meeting with African American Leadership Who Called for a State of Emergency (12/99)
  • Hispanic Congressional and Community Leaders (1/00)
  • Planning meeting with American Indian and Alaska Native HIV/AIDS Leaders (5/00)
  • African American Health and Civic Leaders (5/00)
