The incidence of Hip fractures per 100,000 persons per year stays below 100 until age 60, where it gradually increases to 400 by age 75 and increases to 2100 at age 85. The incidence of Forearm fractures per 100,000 persons per year stays below 100 for the entire age group.
Women: The incidence of Spine fractures per 100,000 persons per year stays below 100 until age 50, where it increases steadily to 250 at age 60 and to 1400 at age 85. The incidence of Hip fractures per 100,000 persons per year stays below 100 until age 60 where it increases to 500 at age 70 and then increases to 3000 at age 85. The incidence of Forearm fractures per 100,000 persons per year starts at 100 at age 40 and increases steadily to 500 at age 60, then remains at 500 from age 60 to age 85.
