Sponsors Health Care Finance Administration's Boston Regional Office (HCFA), The Hepatitis B Education and Prevention in Boston (HepB Initiative), and SCCHC
Story Community leaders, medical and public health students, and public health officials gathered to celebrate the 3rd year of a culturally appropriate mass media campaign and free hepatitis B screening/vaccination service initiated by the HepB Initiative, a collaboration of professionals schools in the Boston area that has now expanded to local health clinics, public health agencies, community agencies, churches, schools, and more. The event featured a skit performed by the SCCHC's Family Life Center, and speakers from Boston Department of Public Health, HCFA, Chinatown leaders, SCCHC, and the HEP B Initiative.
